I am excited to share that I recently published the tenth in a series of Jewish art videos. For the tenth presentation in the Village Art Insights series, Jessica Sebastian and I collaborated to discuss highlights of “Under One Roof”, the Mayerson JCC‘s annual sukkah art exhibit. This was the second year in a row that we had collaborated on such a presentation, having published a presentation of highlights on last year’s exhibit.
With over 30 pieces of art, we were not going to discuss all of them, but highlighted some works of interest. We also started off and focussed on Cedar Village’s entry to the exhibit, as Jessica had overseen the creation of that art piece, as she is the art therapist at Cedar Village (and I serve as the Director of Pastoral Care).
We have broadcast this presentation over the course of these past two weekends to Cedar Village residents on the in-house broadcasting channel and plan on showing encore presentations of it periodically.
