Having formally begun my young adult work (with 20s-30s) less then a year ago (under the organizational name, Southern California Jewish Young Adult Enrichment), I have experimented with different program modalities, different days of the week, and different cities in Southern California. In November and December (perhaps, January, as well), I will not be running any programs for young adults; instead, I will be meeting with young adults, whether in one-to-one meetings or small groups to understand what best suits them and their needs, to better move forward with SoCalJYAE programming 🙂
That, however, does not mean that my work with students does not feature any programs. Working under the aegis of Southern California Jewish Student Services, I have classes coming up: tomorrow at California State University, Long Beach with Long Beach Hillel and next month at California State University, Fullerton with Hillel of Orange County.
I have already begun meeting with young adults and I am looking forward to further such meetings 🙂
